Thresholds to Auspiciousness

Feb 13 - Feb 26 2027

South India

Imagine saying yes to a journey
that becomes an exquisite passage
through the sacred elements
where each landscape opens
a threshold into deeper transformation.

Your experience begins
long before you arrive in South India.

Through pre-journey preparation meetings you’ll attune to the land, its stories,
and the timeless wisdom that awaits you.

You enter already supported,
steady,
and ready to receive.

༺ ✦ ༻

Your 14-day journey unfolds
through the elements:

Earth
Grounding you into embodied presence
and steadiness.

Fire
Awakening strength, clarity,
and inner resolve.

Water, Air & Ether
Inviting expansion, integration,
and the release of what no longer serves.

Earth (Return)
Anchoring clarity
and opening space
for what is ready to emerge.

༺ ✦ ༻

Held in the auspicious presence
of Shri Vighna (Lord Ganesha),
the remover of obstacles
and guardian of sacred beginnings
each phase becomes an initiation.

Auspiciousness rises
as quiet inner alignment.
The path clears.
Support meets you.

Across South India’s mythic landscapes,
you walk ancient temples,
rest beside sacred waters,
and receive blessings woven through
story, ritual, and tradition.

Each day is spacious.
Intentional.
Designed for restoration
and revelation.

This is an immersive, elemental,
and devotional journey
rooting you in India’s living wisdom
and guiding you toward
your most aligned, luminous Self.

My journey to India with Swathy was a profound moment of alignment, both internally & externally.

From the moment I boarded the plane home, I knew I wanted to be in continued relationship with this sacred land & to share it with others as part of my devotion.

Co-leading this journey with Swathy now feels like an organic continuation of that relationship.

Journey Highlights

BENGALURU

Earth & Fire

Our journey begins with a Homa (sacred fire ritual) to Lord Ganesha, the embodiment of the Earth element, invoking clarity, blessings, and the gentle removal of obstacles.

An Indian styling guide supports you in choosing temple clothing ~ a simple rite of preparation for the auspicious path ahead.

You’ll also have spacious time to rest, recover from travel, and gently orient yourself before our journey continues.

HAMPI

Fire & Water

A UNESCO World Heritage site shaped by ancient stone, sweeping horizons, and timeless architecture,

Here our local guides bring the stories of a once-vibrant kingdom to life.

This is a place where the Fire element is honored that awakens clarity, strength, and a sense of the sacred echoing through the land and within our own hearts.

Expect panoramic sunsets, temple walks, river views, vibrant local food, and the alive spaciousness Hampi is known for.

GOKARNA

Water, Air & Ether

A coastal sanctuary where the Arabian Sea softens what’s been held too tightly, inviting release through the Water element.

In this landscape of Lord Shiva, Air and Ether open pathways of clarity, integration, and gentle expansion helping you stabilize and embody whatever the inner Fire has awakened.

Alongside your inner work, you’ll enjoy beach hikes, warm ocean swims, optional Ayurvedic massages, and spacious time to unwind.

Mysore

Earth (Return)

We return to the Earth element, finding refined clarity and a spacious ground for new beginnings.

Held by the steady presence of Ganesha, we unite Shiva and Shakti through a visit to the sacred Goddess temple of Chamundeshwari.

We’ll explore the grandeur of the Mysore Palace, wander vibrant flower and vegetable markets, enjoy Ayurvedic shopping, and experience the gentle rhythm of a city known as the yoga capital of Southern India.

Mysore offers grounding for our final integration and a soft landing before we journey back home.

MEET YOUR GUIDES

Born and raised in India, Swathy Madhukar brings deep cultural insight and a lifetime of lived spiritual practice rooted in the sacred traditions of her homeland. Her devotion was nurtured early through learning bhakti from her grandmother.

As your pilgrimage guide, she brings wholehearted presence mapping the rhythm of sacred sites, ensuring safe and easeful travel, choosing nourishing meals, and creating spacious moments for rest and reflection. Having lived between the East and the West, and having led groups for many years, she naturally bridges both worlds with steadiness and ease.

Alongside respected local guides, Swathy curates journeys that are meaningful, culturally sensitive, and deeply transformative. Her work is rooted in creating sacred containers where practitioners can encounter the living wisdom of India.

She is an RYT 500-hour teacher specializing in Sri Vidya Tantra and Trauma-Informed Yoga.

With warmth and devotion, Swathy says, “Namaskaram… come home with me.”

AnnaRose is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher with advanced training in Tantric meditation. She is a practitioner and teacher in the sacred lineage of Sri Vidya Tantra.

Her path began in 2014, when asana became a source of safety and healing after leaving an abusive relationship ~ an experience that shaped her trauma-informed, heart-centered approach to teaching.

Since 2021, she has offered asana classes, restorative workshops, meditation circles, and sound healing journeys that weave devotion, intention, and embodied practice. Guided by the seasons, astrology, and the subtle intelligence of nature, AnnaRose supports students in cultivating both tenderness and resilience on the path of growth and inner awakening.

Her first trip to India was a spiritual awakening that shook her life into alignment, internally and externally. From the moment she got on the plane to depart, she knew she would be returning to this homeland-with friends and students beside her!

FAQs

  • You should book your international flight to arrive and depart from Bangalore airport (BLR).

  • Arriving in India

Most flights from America arrive in India in the early morning hours. You should plan to land in Bangalore (BLR) either the evening of Feb 12th or early morning of Feb 13th. Jet lag from this long journey can be intense, so we strongly recommend arriving 2–3 days early if possible to rest and acclimate.

    Departing India

The journey ends when we arrive back at Bangalore Airport (BLR) at 6:00 PM on Feb 26th. Please book your departure flight for after 9:00 PM on the Feb 26th or more likely, early morning (midnight to 4:00 AM) on Feb 27th.

Due to time zone differences and international flight timing, it's easy to miscalculate dates. We highly recommend having Swathy review your itinerary before purchasing (or within 24 hours of booking).

Be sure to apply as soon as possible to avoid any issues.

  • Your passport must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your return date from India. If it is not, you will need to renew your passport before applying for your Indian visa.

  • As this is a sacred journey and we will be visiting traditional temples and pilgrimage sites, modest, loose-fitting clothing that fully covers the body is required to enter these spaces. Avg. Temp. for all locations: 65° - 85° F

  • How many people will be on this journey?

We expect there will be 12 people for a peaceful yet energetic group dynamic. Enough that you can meet and connect with new friends, not so many that you are alone in a crowd.

  • The majority of participants on our journeys are traveling alone. You will find that while you may come alone, you will be leaving with many new friends! We will also have several planning calls in advance of our departure date so you feel prepared and aquainted with your fellow travelers.

  • You will need cash for incidentals, donating at temples (if you choose to do so), and meals or snacks that are not included.

Incidentals like laundry and room service can be charged to a credit card. Even gifts and souvenirs can usually be paid for with a credit card. Most people find $500 cash on hand is more than enough.

  • You will be able to change money at the airport upon arrival. In addition, a dedicated money changer will meet us at our hotel in Bengaluru, making it easy to exchange currency before we continue on our journey.

  • Whatever the age you are is the perfect age to come to India!

  • A resounding YES! We have seen the results of these journeys in people’s lives. Whatever amount you invest in yourself, you gain exponentially in return. In addition, we will host Prep Sessions (online) where we will go over any questions and help you prepare. We are at your service long before we ever get to India.
